Rhinoplasty

Refinement in Harmony with the Face

Rhinoplasty is a highly precise procedure aimed not at changing identity, but at refining the nose so that it blends naturally and harmoniously with the rest of the face.

Rather than creating a “new” nose, the objective is to refine what is already there—so that the result feels familiar, balanced, and entirely natural.

Planning and Communication

A successful rhinoplasty begins with a clear and shared understanding.

Particular attention is given to understanding exactly what the patient wishes to improve. During the consultation, clinical photographs are taken and, when appropriate, a simulation is created. This allows for a precise and realistic discussion, ensuring that both patient and surgeon are aligned before the procedure.

Procedure and Early Recovery

Rhinoplasty is performed under general anesthesia, and patients return home the same day.

A small nasal splint is placed for about one week. Soft internal nasal dressings are used initially and are usually removed the following day.

During the first night, breathing is mostly through the mouth. The internal dressings are generally well tolerated and not painful—neither while in place nor during their removal.

Overall, the procedure is well tolerated, with minimal discomfort.

A Progressive, Natural Result

As swelling gradually subsides, the nose refines over time.

While early improvements are visible within weeks, the final result—particularly at the tip—may take eight to twelve months to fully settle, as swelling tends to persist longer in this area.
